After going through another intensive course

The few of us decided to go for a bit of relaxation

Jess suggested going back to her hometown

Which was what we did

Started our journey at 6 in the morning

or was it 5??.....

Took us about 5-6 hours to arrive there

Including going through customs and everything

Its been a while since i last used my passport

Feels good,mmMmm

Never thought that i'd find another town smaller than tawau,XD

We spent the next few days touring around town

Spent a day at brunei

Had some fun at jerudong park

Sweated a lot

Took lots of pics,mostly of the girls

Jess' parents were very good to us

Aunty kept cooking delicious food for us

Reckon that i've gained 2-3 kgs,XD

I do have some pics to upload

But its just freakin' 1:30 in the morning

And i can't be bothered right now

With the slow connection speed and all

Mark came over 2 days ago,stayed at my place

So we decided to go swim since we were soooo bored today

First time since I moved here

Found out that its very shallow =.=

Oh well,must be content

Must get goggles,coz can't see a thing at all

Going cell group later then yam cha again

I've been cut off from the internet for the past 3 weeks

So I couldn't do much surfing or facebooking

And explains why I didn't blog XD

Anyways, the hols have been awesome

Came back to kk refreshed and ready to....work......

Its been quite interesting actually

Santa gave me a saman early Christmas morning

Its the best present ever, really...

And as for new year

The whole bunch of us went to kfc(yes kfc,its tawau)

I had my usual snack plate

kk's kfc much better

Chewing chewing....pop!

oh crap..........

checked the mirror, the rubber band on the only tooth still crooked came off!!

and i still had another 2 weeks before coming back to kk

I think it could have been straightened by then

oh well,delayed by 3 weeks

oh,nearly forgot

went to island with a group of friends

met new friends

got a nice tan

went for this thing called "discover scuba diving"

and now,i definitely must get a diving license!!!!!!

that's why i'm trying to save up my money

life's been good,thank God

and i can't wait to see what this new year has to offer me

Futsal!!!!

Its been ages since I've played futsal

Missed the excitement and non-stop action

Haven't been playing any football much since i got my braces

And also because I've been busy lately with work

Classes clashing with football time

Stomach shrunk

Muscles shrunk/lembek

So I felt very light while running just now

Had a good game,although very tiring

Since only 8 turned up

2 hours tiam~

Not sure when we'll get a chance to play futsal again

Children Worship Conference (C.W.C)

Having been in the worship team for a few years

I've been serving for quite a while already

And somehow,unconsciously

Worshipping has become more of a routine,a need-to do

Rather than something I desire

The passion in my heart is emitting only a small flame

Compared to the gigantic blaze when I first received Christ

When I came over to kk in Aug

Pastor Stella had me booked for C.W.C

I had no idea what it was

But I agreed, thinking that it was just another event that i need to serve

Little did i realize......

It was totally awesome!

More than 500++ kids came and gathered to worship God in unity

As I stood on the stage playing my instrument

I could see their faces focused on worshipping

And as we sang and danced

Their enthusiasm was just heart-moving

I haven't felt such joy in praising God for so long

Once more I found the joy of worshipping the Lord

I guess it was God's way of reminding me

How blessed it is to worship Him

Vui Ken came into town a few days ago

Didn't have a chance to hang out with him until today

So we decided to have dinner together

The whole gang went to KK's most famous bak kut teh

After that we drove around town and went to tanjung aru for a walk

And she brought us to visit her friend's place

It took 2 hours just to drive from mas airport to the place

We went on a boat ride to see fireflies and proboscis monkeys

Ze Hao fell in love with the monkeys the moment he saw them

We fooled around and did a short,stupid documentary

staying with my bro in Delta Heights

already settled down

feels:

1)pretty good to have so much freedom

2)tired because i sleep late nearly every night

3)sad coz wallet seems to have a big big HOLE!!!

ever since i came here

it seems that spending money everyday is compulsory

omg

so we ( bro and i) decided to stock up in food

and cook more often at home

managed to save a bit,lol

but still have to work on our daily expenses

You know how some days you just feel like you're in a dream

And it turns out to be a nightmare in the end?

Yea,I had that,last Saturday....

I had my afternoon free since school was only half day

So I decided to go for a haircut

Mom wanted to visit Grandma

So I fetched her out too

After my haircut I went to fetch Mom from my aunt's house

This time I was quite satisfied with my haircut

Felt like nothing could go wrong

Had to serve in church that night

So I had to hurry and fetch mom home and have my dinner and prepare myself

Was quite impatient as I was turning out of a junction

I waited for quite a while until and opportunity came

So i quickly swerved my car out,and rammed right into another car

OMG!!!!

THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!!!

I literally shouted to myself right after that happened

Imagine a boy shouting in his car with cars surrounding him,quite stupid

Anyway,I quickly called my parents and mom helped me settle everything in the end

Luckily no one got hurt,the other car just had a slight dent

We made arrangements to pay for the damages done

It took me a while to realize there were kids at the back of the car

Thank God they're safe....

I probably won't forgive myself if they got hurt...

The aunty took it all pretty well

But I was still quite traumatized for a couple of days

Mom and Dad took it quite well

Although I won't be able to drive for a while

They said it was a very "expensive" lesson for me

I'm just glad I didn't hurt anyone from my stupid mistake

And I wanna thank God for His protection over all of us

It sure was quite an experience,lol

I went over to kk for my first ever ss session with these bunch of monkeys who have nothing else but time to waste

So we went to Starbucks to hang out. I kasihan the other customers. They had to put up with our idiocy the whole time

The session was a success, the monkeys behaved the best they could,although it wasn't a lot of difference

I'd say the session was a success. Many ss pics were taken. Had tons of fun. Can't wait for the next one =.=

Typical Day at Children Cell

So today I figured I'd show you how life goes on at St. Patrick's Children Cell.

For those of you who don't know what children cell is,its sorta like sunday school, but we just call it children cell. I was a helper and musician here until I retired last year. Just couldn't cope with the stress,haha...

So what we do at children cell is keep the little buggers busy for a couple of hours on Sunday so that the parents get to rest for a while. We keep them occupied with Bible verses and children songs until they get themselves exhausted.

Let me introduce you to some of the monkeys

This is Ben10. He can transform into 10 different aliens.
Adorable, but deadly.

And this is Egg-Tart. Dreams to be King of Hip-Hop.
Nothing gets in his way, nothing...

This guy's 'The Joker". Doesn't he look familiar??

These are the top dogs that run the facility. They are afraid of no one but me.

This happens most of the time. Kids get restless and start a riot. Ben10 at the right hand corner, halfway transforming. Ze Hao barely made it out alive...

This is a custom made stun bomb. Just one of this, you can knock out a hippo in an instant.
Dangerous stuff...

So if you're in Tawau, and you have heaps of free time on Sundays, come on down to enjoy some fun and relaxation at St. Patrick's Children Cell, where children become disciples!

So school's starting again tomorrow,yay!=.=...time passes real fast when you're having fun...but to tell you the truth,i didn't really have much fun during the holidays...well,i did,but not much...just went to kk with lau they all for a few days,then came back to tawau and prepared for Christmas,which took quite a lot of my time...as for my other free days,i just waste my time at home going online,sad to say...wish i did some exercise,then i'd be fit by now,haha...i still have a tummy,souvenier from A-level...imagine how big my tummy will be at the end of this year O_o...cham lor,haha...

so anywayz,back to school....OH NO!!!!!....part of me miss the time spent with friends in school,so i still long to go back to school...but most of my says CRAP...i seriously hope that i can focus on my studies this year,well,better than last year lar,hopefully...definitely will be very busy...i wonder if i'll still have to time blog...hmmm.....

oh ya,i also intend to repair my relationship with God as well...honestly,i have to say i've left Him out of my life for quite some time already...a lot of times i've neglected my devotions and read the Bible...have to catch up a lot...not just that lar,i haven't really paid any real attention to my cell group,so i really have to put in more effort this year...jonathan,i won't disappoint you anymore,haha...frankly speaking,i can see how my neglect has affected my life...life just doesn't seem as lively as before...

Charity Dinner at Gek Poh

My bro and I went for this charity dinner a couple of...I think...months ago.I think it was organised by the Red Crescent. Roy, Christopher, Joel, and Adrian were there with us.

The dinner was all right...saw some kids dancing...very cute...and some guy gave some speech...then to end the night, a group of Red Crescent youths sang a chinese song which I didn't even understand a word...oh well...at least we got to take a picture with the previous Miss Malaysia,XD

We also spent some time doing stupid poses in front of the statue...out of boredom...

After the dinner Roy brought us for supper...we went to CJ's Bistro...it was actually my first and only time there...didn't even realize until then...

the guyz were totally drunk...we had to drag their bodies outta the place...just kidding...they were just sleepy little kids who couldn't wait to go home and sleep...

so anywayz,that concludes my story for today...blogging is so tiring...snore...XD

well...here i am...sitting in front of the com...wondering how to spend me life...then i thought...hey,maybe i'll go check my blog...it's been a while....then i realized i've been a bad boy...i haven't posted anything since my brother played with my blog that day...maybe i should post something...so i rummaged through the whole com,finding stuff to post...and found my birthday photos...

it all started when we just finished our worship practice...and i was wondering "hey,maybe us guyz can go yam cha or something..."...and they were like "o ok,no prob..."...so we went on dear Erik's car to go yam cha, while dear Roy went to "fetch Renee"...so the unsuspecting me just went along...go yam cha wa~~~NOT!!!
